Presidential Prompter FAQs

Will the audience be able to see the teleprompter?

No. The glass panels are transparent — the audience sees right through them. Only the speaker can see the reflected text, and the floor stands are slim and unobtrusive. Most audience members have no idea a prompter is in use.

How large is the text on the screens?

We adjust font size and display brightness to match the distance between the speaker and the panels, and the ambient lighting of your venue. Speakers typically need one or two run-throughs to get comfortable with the pacing.

What if the speaker wants to go off-script?

Our operator pauses and resumes the scroll in real-time. Speakers can improvise freely and we'll find their place when they return to the script.

Can we make last-minute changes to the script?

Yes. We recommend finalizing scripts as early as possible, but we're equipped to load edits right up to showtime. We've handled changes mid-event.
